From 1998 to the present day, a chronology of the Venezuelan crisis.
In the midst of this crisis, the Venezuelan opposition finds itself in the midst of a lengthy process fraught with obstacles, involving numerous stages and requirements that appear designed not to delay the calling of new elections, but rather to ensure that the current vice president (appointed directly by the president) assumes power for the remainder of the term.

En medio de esta crisis, la oposición venezolana se encuentra en medio de un largo proceso lleno de obstáculos, lleno de etapas y requisitos que aparentemente tendrían como finalidad prorrogar la convocar a nuevas elecciones, sino que asumiría el poder el Vicepresidente de turno (designado directamente por el Presidente), por el resto del período.
